The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in journalism has transformed news production, distribution, and consumption, raising critical ethical and professional considerations. This study systematically examines the multifaceted implications of AI adoption in the journalistic field, focusing on its influence on editorial decision-making, accuracy, accountability, and professional standards. Drawing on a comprehensive review of peer-reviewed literature, case studies, and industry reports, the research identifies both opportunities and challenges presented by AI technologies, including automated content generation, algorithmic news curation, and audience analytics. Findings highlight concerns over bias, transparency, and the erosion of journalistic norms, while also recognizing the potential for efficiency, personalization, and investigative innovation. The study underscores the need for robust ethical frameworks, policy guidelines, and continuous professional training to ensure that AI-enhanced journalism aligns with core democratic and societal responsibilities. By synthesizing contemporary debates and empirical evidence, this review contributes to a nuanced understanding of how AI reshapes journalistic practice and its broader implications for media ethics and professional accountability.
